Bookmarklets

Bookmarklets are links that you can add to your browser's Bookmarks Toolbar. They are an easy way to post websites to AddmySupport as you come across them.

Firefox

  1. Make sure your Bookmarks Toolbar is visible - if not, turn it on in the "View > Toolbars" menu
  2. Drag this link: Save on AddmySupport to the bookmarks toolbar
  3. When you come across a site that you would like to save to AddmySupport, just click the toolbar button and you'll be able to save it quickly and easily.

Safari

  1. Make sure your Bookmarks Bar is visible - if not, turn it on in the "View > Show Bookmarks Bar" menu
  2. Drag this link: Save on AddmySupport to the bookmarks toolbar
  3. When you come across a site that you would like to save to AddmySupport, just click the toolbar button and you'll be able to save it quickly and easily.

Internet Explorer 8

  1. Make sure your Favourites Bar is visible - if not, turn it on by right clicking anywhere on the menu bar and ensure "Favourites Bar" is checked
  2. Right-click this link: Save on AddmySupport and select "Add to Favourites". You may be warned about adding a bookmark that is not safe - click Yes to continue. Be sure to Create In the "Favourites Bar" folder so that it appears in the toolbar.
  3. When you come across a site that you would like to save to AddmySupport, just click the toolbar button and you'll be able to save it quickly and easily.

Internet Explorer 6 and 7

  1. Make sure your Links Toolbar is visible - if not, turn it on by right clicking anywhere on the menu bar and ensure "Links" is checked. You may need to temporarily un-check "Lock the Toolbars" so you can resize the Links Toolbar to a suitable size.
  2. Right-click this link: Save on AddmySupport and select "Add to Favourites". You may be warned about adding a bookmark that is not safe - click Yes to continue. Be sure to save it to the "Links" folder so that it appears in the toolbar.
  3. When you come across a site that you would like to save to AddmySupport, just click the toolbar button and you'll be able to save it quickly and easily.

Google Chrome

  1. Make sure the Bookmarks Bar is visible - if not, select "Always show bookmarks bar" in the Tools menu
  2. Drag this link: Save on AddmySupport to the bookmarks toolbar
  3. When you come across a site that you would like to save to AddmySupport, just click the toolbar button and you'll be able to save it quickly and easily.

Opera

  1. Make sure your Personal Bar is visible - if not, turn it on in "View > Toolbars" menu
  2. Right-click this link: Save on AddmySupport and select "Bookmark Link". Make sure the "Details" section is expanded, and that "Show on Personal Bar" is ticked so that it appears in the toolbar.
  3. When you come across a site that you would like to save to AddmySupport, just click the toolbar button and you'll be able to save it quickly and easily.
