Danyl Johnson has now reached the final twelve of the 2009 X Factor. Congratulations Danyl!
Danyl Johnson from Arborfield, who teaches in Reading, made a breathtaking debut on the X Factor first auditions, with a performance dubbed by Simon Cowell as "the best first audition I have ever heard."
Danyl wowed all the judges, with his version of With a Little Help From My Friends but the media has already began to focus on his personal life and choices instead of his singing and performing (see some of the articles added below)
So in the spirit of his audition song, I have created this Support Page to ask people to add their support to Danyl Johnson, for his wonderful singing, stage presence and for who he is now and not what the media will try to make (or break) him into.
Danyl Johnson is a wonderful performer and talented singer and everyone can look forward to seeing more of Danyl, and his incredible performances on the X Factor. I wonder how he is going to follow his audition?

daniel i have thought from day 1 tat u totally have the x factor the best show person ever on there .but i was totally disgusted tonight at dani minogues remarks i,m wondering is it jealousy as ur star is shining very brightly and hers has totally diminished .its a sad day when u have to be catty about someones sexuatily to think your cool. hurry up with the firing simon and get her out before she hurts too many people . you to win daniel

Danyl you are amazing . Danni was way out of order but from the reaction i have seen on net cause they like me are outragged she will get whats coming to her . Danyls performance 2nite on x factor was absolutely amazing, and i really hope he wins da show (i'l vote 4 him anyways). I'm sick of da rumours that he is gay, if he is gay, straight or bi does it really matter, the fact that he has an amazing voice is all that people should judge!! What Danni said 2nite was disgusting, his personal life should not be mentioned on da show unless he choices 4 it 2! Keep up da great singing Danyl! Shawn Yates South Wales.

More so than Danni's irrelevant and awkward comment, I think the biggest injustice here was to refer to a lack of likeability and overconfidence. Actually I saw a genuine, normal, nervous guy who gave his all, as per previous performances. And rather than making you look 'cocky', it is precisely that which gives you the likeability factor. Very subjective and unsupported comments.
